They were conceived to create a third credible and preferred option to other dominant industries, remote site catering and allied service providers for serving client companies engaged in Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Defence and Maritime. Any remote site operation or project is accompanied by key challenges in the areas of people, health & safety, logistics, compliances, localisation and community impact.
Based on the foundation of FASSCO’s IT vision for non-core infrastructure operations support to BHP is to provide real-time and accurate information to all stakeholders to deliver improved controls, better safety management and to offer a single point integrated platform for service management by FASSCO.
In order to achieve this vision, FASSCO deployed a multi-tier IT infrastructure that will empower all its crew and BHP site residents with native mobile applications to capture all data as it happens and synchronize the data across all sites using cloud servers. A host of FASSCO applications will process and analyse the data to trigger any exceptions and present consolidated reports on dashboards for key stakeholders on their mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
The staffs are enabled to walk around with their devices logging in real time information, feedback, comments, and rating issues where necessary.
